Made a run to Tysons last evening

Contractor has begun construction of the yard lead tunnel west of the Connector Road. 4 segments of invert slab are done. 2 segments of track bed slab are in place on the invert slab on the east end

One span in the Tysons East (McLean) station still needs to be set

It appears that the segments use to assemble the spans over the Capitol Beltway VA I-495 do not add up to a multiple of the total length of a span. They are setting forms in the remaining gap to pour in place the segment that is shorter then the precast segments that are being made at the post tension segment casting plant. From what I could see there are no expansion joints in the combined spans over the Beltway

Lifting gantry #2 was reassembled west of the Tysons Central 7 (Greensboro) station in the middle of July and started working west

They were unloading more segments along Leesburg Pike

The columns that will support the mezzanine in the Tysons Central 7 (Greensboro) station were partly completed.

K and N Junction:
